Oops! I didn’t see that tree branch! Not to worry. Some Eterna-bond tape and some Dicor Non-Leveling Lap Sealant will fix that right up. RV roof repairs can be done by the owner by following the simple steps below.

  1. Clean the rip/tear with denatured alcohol.
  2. Trim loose roofing material so that it lays flat.
  3. Cut a piece of Eternal-bond putty tape that will cover the tear. Round any sharp edges – think rectangle with rounded corners
  4. Peel off the backing and apply with a roller or squeegee so that there are no bubbles.
  5. IMPORTANT! – seal edges of tape with Dicor Non-Leveling Lap Sealant. This is required by the manufacturer of the tape. It prevents lifting of the edges.
